Helena Khazdozian

Sr. Technology Manager

Dr. Helena Khazdozian earned her PhD from Iowa State University in Wind Energy Science, Engineering, and Policy with a co-major in Electrical Engineering and her MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Virginia. In her role as a Senior Technology Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Office, Helena manages a critical materials research, development, and demonstration portfolio including the Critical Materials Innovation Hub (CMI).

Helena has ten years of experience in critical materials spanning research on evaluation of magnetic materials in electric machines, coordination of government-wide research on critical minerals, and the establishment of the Critical Materials Collaborative.
