Dan Vasile

Dr. Dan I. Vasile has spent 35 years in the US and Europe designing, manufacturing, testing and repairing electric motors and generators, large and small, for critical or high-volume applications. He has started his professional career in academia, in Europe, and continued it in the US, on the production floor, working in global engineering teams, for private and public traded multinational corporations such as: Powertec Industrial Motors, Nidec Motors Corporations or FMC Technologies.

Dan has held various leadership and engineering management roles, including the General Manager and VP of Engineering with Motors Technologies. Currently he is with Windings, as a Director of Motor Solutions. Dan has graduated with a Master and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering specialty, electrical machines, from Polytechnic University of Bucharest and with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, specialty Manufacturing, from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
