Delvis Gonzalez

Delvis Gonzalez is an engineer specialist with more than two decades of professional experience in electromagnetic design, new product validation, and product development of electrical machines and magnetic bearings systems. He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and an M.S. degree from the Central University of Las Villas, Santa Clara, Cuba, in 1997 and 2001, respectively. Gonzalez completed his Ph.D. degree in Engineering Sciences with a major in Electrical Engineering from the University of Concepcion, Concepcion, Chile, in 2006.

From 2007 to 2011 Dr. Gonzalez was with Direct Drive Systems, Fullerton, CA, as Electrical Engineer. Since 2011, Dr. Gonzalez has been with Danfoss Turbocor Compressors, Tallahassee, FL as a Senior Motor & Magnetic Specialist. At Danfoss, Dr. Gonzalez has led the design and development of multiple high-speed permanent magnet motors and magnetic bearings for the HVAC industry.
