Brian Gabriel

Senior Manager, Critical Materials Management

Lockheed Martin

Brian Gabriel is the Senior Manager for Critical Materials Management at Lockheed Martin. In this this
capacity, he is responsible for leading change in the enterprise-wide approach to supply chain
resiliency for critical raw materials and microelectronics.

Previously, Brian was the Deputy CTO for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial
Base Policy. In that role, he was responsible for technical and thought leadership on variety of Defense
Industrial Base issues, including the Department of Defense’s role in planning and implementation of
the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) Act. Concurrently, Brian also
served as an analyst on the Munitions Industrial Base Deep Dive team, which collaborated with
industry to increase production rates of munitions critical to the conflict in Ukraine.

Brian holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Material Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State
University and a M.S. degree in Applied Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.
